Intermediate Care at Elmwood, Bickley

An Intermediate Care provision for 20 residents is located on the first floor. This service is provided in conjunction with the Bromley Intermediate Care team. Intermediate care residents typically spend up to six weeks with us at Elmwood and will receive encouragement, help and support from our nursing and care team throughout their rehabilitation.

Intermediate care residents benefit from all of the facilities and services available at Elmwood nursing home, including our activities and events programme and will have full access to occupational therapy, physiotherapy and other rehabilitative services as discussed with their Care Manager.

Admissions to the Intermediate Care unit at Elmwood are handled by Bromley Intermediate Care team and we are unable to accept any enquiries on their behalf. If you have already been advised by your Care Manager that you will receive intermediate care at Elmwood care home with nursing, we will be happy to answer any queries that you may have in advance of your stay with us.
