International day at Elmwood

Some of the staff at Elmwood treated our residents to an afternoon of culture on Thursday 9^th December.

Carers and nurses dressed up in traditional Nigerian attire as they shared some music and dance from their homeland with us, explaining, ’our residents are a part of our family to us - we know lots about their lives so thought it was only fair that they learnt a little about ours!’

A good time was has by all that attended and our residents are looking forward to similar events planned for the New Year.  Thank you to all of our staff who took part in this activity.
