Good work at Elmwood shared

The growing partnership between London City Mission and Mission Care was showcased in the Winter 2010/11 edition of ’Changing London’, London City Mission’s quarterly supporter newsletter.

The article pays particular focus to the developing work at Elmwood care home, Bickley, where Angel Tiebas and Wendy Hughes of London City Mission have worked to develop good pastoral care and ministry for the residents, staff and families at Elmwood.

Jennifer Clarke, a resident at Elmwood, when asked about her own experiences with London City Mission, explained that ’Wendy and Angel are absolutely brilliant.  Everyone is encouraged to be as involved as they wish and the sessions are very interactive and supporting.’
