Residents enjoy special musical performance

Residents at Elmwood were visited by a family of very talented musicians on Saturday 12th February.

Caroline, who is a friend of the home, and her daughters Helen (18) and Issy (13) spent a wonderful hour with our residents and sang a wide variety of songs from popular musicals, including ’My Fair Lady’ and ’The Sound of Music’ as well as some more recent favourites including songs by The Beatles and Abba.

The ladies accompanied each other on guitar and also on piano. 

All of the 25 residents who gathered around the piano on Saturday morning thoroughly enjoyed the performance and spoke for sometime afterwards about how talented the ladies are.

Everyone at Elmwood is very grateful to Caroline, Helen and Issy for volunteering their time to visit our home.
