Elmwood reigns over rain

Despite a very wet start to the day, residents, relatives, friends, supporters and staff all enjoyed the Elmwood garden party on Saturday 2nd July. The event was a great success and raised a grand total of £2741 to support activities within the home!
The rain didn’t stop people from coming out in force to support the home and the party was well attended by many. There were a variety of stalls to keep our guest busy as well as lots of entertainment.
A particular highlight included a performance from the Parkwood Hall School steel band, who visit our residents every year, and took shelter from the rain on the home’s balcony.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed towards making the day such a wonderful success.
