Our Care Team at Elmwood, Bickley

Ruth Rondozai is Elmwood’s Registered Manager.  Ruth is a Registered General Nurse and a trained midwife and holds a diploma in Health Visiting and the Registered Manager Award (NVQ4).  She has studied at postgraduate level, receiving a diploma in Administration and an MSc in Nursing Science. 


Ruth manages Elmwood’s team of nurses and care assistants and the intermediate care floor at Elmwood is managed by the Clinical Director.  Our activities team are also part of our care team and the business support team will handle all administrative matters related to our residents’ care at Elmwood.

We recognise our staff as our most important asset and all of your care team will complete an enhanced CRB disclosure prior to starting work at Elmwood and a thorough and comprehensive induction and training programme, with ongoing personal development throughout their career with Mission Care.

We work with outside specialists and other groups, who all play a role in your care and life at Elmwood, to offer services that include dentistry, chiropody and optometry, pastoral support and other therapies.
