Super ’Soprano’ at Elmwood
On Wednesday 29th February residents at Elmwood will be joined by Sue Kennett, a soprano singer.
Sue will begin her performance at 11am in the ground floor lounge, residents, friends and their families are warmly invited to join us.

Love Walk to watch Strictly Come Dancing stars!
A group of residents shall be visiting the Royal Festival Hall on Saturday 25th February, to watch the amazing new show "Let’s do it" from Strictly Come Dancing star Anton du Beke and Erin Boag! There will be a list other guest dancers and a live orchestra, which is bound to be a great trip out!

Residents to visit St. Pauls Cathedral
A group of residents will be visiting the historical St. Pauls Cathedral on Thursday 23rd January. The cathedral was built in 1675 after the one before was destroyed in the Great Fire of London!

Pastoral Team tackle ’big questions’ at Elmwood and Love Walk
The Pastoral Team have been busy within our homes delivering support and pastoral care to our residents, relatives and members of staff.
The ‘big question’ talks have been a big success so far with some really interesting and motivating discussions arising between our residents. The topical issues discussed pose some big questions in relation to faith and belief and try to provide some beginnings of answers from a Christian perspective.
This weeks topic of conversation is ‘Did Jesus really rise from the dead’ which will take place at Elmwood and Love Walk which we hope will be beneficial to our participants.

Elmwood Easter Sale
Residents, friends and families are invited to join us as we enjoy are pre-Easter sale on Friday 16th March at 10.30am.
There will be lots of items to browse through and purchase if you wish from Easter eggs to Easter cards, and many other gifts. This will also be a nice opportunity to spend some time with loved ones getting in the Easter spirit!

A tour of the Royal Air Force museum for Love Walk
Residents of Love Walk can enjoy a day trip to the Royal Air Force museum on Thursday 16th February.
There will be plenty to see and do as they have the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the only London museum to house over 100 aircrafts from from around the world including some very ealry aircraft designs through to the latest modern day jets and military aircraft.

Gary O’ Connor back at Elmwood!

Love Walk to enjoy 3D cinematic experience
Residents of Love Walk are set to enjoy an afternoon of cinematic experience on Tuesday 7th February as they visit the IMAX cinema to watch the fun animated film ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ in 3D.
The blockbuster film features two characters in 1969 that embark on their first trip into space all the way to the moon.

Question time with Wes
Residents are invited to join Wes in the ground floor lounge for the second installment of ’Big Questions’.
This week’s topicis ’If God is good, why do we suffer?’. All are welcome to join in giving their views or just listening to others. There will be tea and biscuits at the end and Wes will be offering individual talks to anyone who would like it.
