Musical duet at Willett House
On Friday 27th May, our residents can enjoy energetic performance by popular duo J and M Sounds.
They will be entertaining us with their guitar playing and great voices as they sing many of our favourite numbers.

Picnic in the park
On Thursday 26th May 2011, residents from Homefield and Elmwood will be able to enjoy a walk down to Whitehall Recreation for a picnic. Families and friends are warmly invited to join us for an enjoyable afternoon in the sun.

Morton House residents travel back in time
The wheels are set in motion for residents from Morton House to vist the London Transport Museum on Thursday 26th May.
At the museum, our residents will be able to see the changes in the transport systems from Roman beginnings until the present day.

Mario returns to entertain

Our ’greenfingered’ friends at Love Walk to attend workshop
Since becoming quite the gardeners at Love Walk, we have decided to attend a very exciting one day session ’Introduction to Gardening’ at the Walworth Garden Farm Shop.
The day will include learning different and novel ways to grow food in a city environment, if you are interested in attending please let Mags know.

Residents to visit local art gallery
On Friday 20th May, residents from Love Walk can enjoy a trip to the ASC gallery, Southwark.
Residents will be able to view the work of woman artists from the Southwark Art Collection. This exhibition is celebrating a century of International Women’s Day, and highlights historic, modern and contemporary work by women artists.
If you would like to come and join in this experience be sure to meet in reception after lunch.

Singing favourite is set to return to Homefield
Residents and their loved ones are warmly invited to join us as one of Homefield’s favourite entertainers returns on Thursday 19th May from 3pm.
Roger Channing will be singing for our residents, making sure they hear some of their favourite hit’s from previous decades. Be sure to come and join us for a sing-a-long afternoon!

Cream Teas at Roe Buck Hotel
A small group of residents have been invited by the Rotarty Club to enjoy cream tea in Forest Row on Thursday 19th May.
The afternoon will take place in the stunning Roe Buck Hotel, which is a stunning 17th Century inn set on the edge of Royal Ashdown forest with features such as white oak beams and open fires.

Marjorie McClure School arts and crafts at Elmwood
On Wednesday 18th May at 11am our residents will be joined by the some of the year’s 7-8 students from Marjorie McClure School for an Arts and Crafts session. We also welcome Marion Tasker who is the art therapist from St Christopher’s hospice who will be joining us in this session.

Mark Sedgwick returns to Elmwood

Mission Care Annual Fly Fishing Event
We will be holding our annual Fly Fishing event this Friday 6th May.
The event will take place at the very popular and incredibly picturesque Duncton Mill Fishery, West Sussex and promises to be a wonderful day, for beginners and experienced fly fishers alike.
Our day starts bright and early at 8.30am with a delicious breakfast and will include a full day’s fishing (including tuition) and a wonderful lunch and dinner at Duncton Mill.

Instrumental Trio at Southbank
Love Walk residents are invited to join us on a splendid trip to Southbank on Friday 6th May.
We will be watching the ’Three Cane Whale’ peform. The Three Cane Whale are a new multi-instrumental trio who play acoustic cinematic miniatures, drawing influence from folk and minimalist music.
This is sure to be a fun new experience for our residents and satff, which will be followed by a walk and a picnic along the Thames.
We will be leaving at 11am sharp, please gather in the reception area if you would like to join us.

It is our pleasure to be hosting Mission Care’s annual Fly Fishing event, on Friday 6th May, 2011.
The event will take place at the very popular and incredibly picturesque Duncton Mill Fishery, West Sussex and promises to be a wonderful day, for beginners and experienced fly fishers alike.
