’Battle of the Homes’ at Elmwood
Please come along to the ground floor lounge on Thursday 24th November as we are joined by residents from Greenhill, Homefield and Willett House as they go head to head in a ’Battle of the Homes’ quiz.

Richard Green returns to Elmwood
Residents, friends and relatives are invited to join us as we welcome Richard Green back to Elmwood.
Richard will be playing the keyboard as he sings hits from West End Musicals. Please do sing-a-long to the ones you know, as well as trying to match the song with which musical it is from.

The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army shall be visiting Elmwood, Bickley on Sunday 20th November.
They shall be giving a short service for our residents as well as singing a selection of classic Christmas carols along with their brass band.
All are welcome, so please do come along and join us as we sing together from 11.45am in the ground floor lounge.

Christmas shopping at Southbanks ’German’ market
A group of residents from Love Walk will be visiting the popular Cologne Christmas Market held at Southbank on Friday 18th November.
There will be many stalls to look at selling some wonderful Christmas gifts. Residents can also enjoy a glass of Glühwein”, classic German mulled wine along with a famous Bratwurst to keep them warm if they wish.
Everyone is invited to join us on this wonderful trip, please let someone know if you would like to attend.

Violinist Victoria Yellop comes to Elmwood!
Talented violinist Victoria Yellop shall be performing for Elmwood on Thursday 17th November. Victoria not only plays the finest in classical music but also adds elements of song and even dance to her performance!

Love Walk to visit World Press Exhibition
Residents from Love Walk are due to enter a world of international photography on Friday 11th November as they visit the ‘World press photo exhibition’ at Southbank.
The exhibition shall showcase the work from international photographers in art, sports and also natural history!

A trip to Dickens World
A group of residents will be visiting Dickens World, Chatham on Thursday 10th November.
Residents can enjoy learning more about the famous Victorian novelist as they as they engage in a variety activities to keep them entertained such as a visit to The Haunted House of 1859 or a trip back in time to a Victorian School.
Residents can also meet some of Dickens’ characters from famous titles such as ’A Christmas Carol’ in their very own rendition of a Victorian town courtyard.

A day of fun with friends

Pre-Christmas sale at Elmwood
As the Christmas period is fast approaching why not come along to Elmwood for our very own pre-Christmas sale.

Homefield to visit Royal Air Force Museum
Residents from Homefield, Bickley are to enjoy a day out at the Royal Air Force Museum on Thursday 3rd November. The museum is home to over 100 full size aircrafts such as war planes and also modern day jets. Lunch will then be enjoyed by all at the Toby Carvery!
