Mrs Mary Skinner, a resident at Greenhill nursing home, Bromley since June 2009, celebrated her 100th birthday on Thursday 9th September, 2010, with an afternoon of celebrations at the home.
Mary was joined by more than eighty guests, which included eighteen members of her family and her friends at Greenhill and Councillor George Taylor, the Mayor of Bromley, who was delighted to accept hs invitation to the celebrations.
Mary and her guests enjoyed a wonderful musical performance from Anna Golding, who sang a number of Mary's favourite songs, including 'The Lambeth Walk' and 'You Are my Sunshine'.
Mary's family and friends toasted Mary's birthday and enjoyed a wonderful birthday tea and a beautiful birthday cake, prepared in Greenhill's kitchens by Pride Catering.
