Homefield summer party a success

On Saturday 2nd July, residents from Homefield enjoyed a sunny summer fair with their relatives, friends and staff which raised over £300!
There were plenty of things going on and to do, from browsing through the items on display at the Bric-a-brac stall, searching for that bargain, to picking a new plant for your garden. There was also a raffle and tombola where our residents and guests won prizes which included hampers and luxury chocolates.
Our residents and the guests were also joined by entertainer, Polly Raymond, for the afternoon. Polly was quick to get people up and dancing as she sang songs from our younger days.
To end it all, what better than a serving of Homefields High Tea with scones jam and cream, served with refreshing summer punch prepared by Steph, our Clinical Practice Director.
Sue Collins, Activities Coordinator, commented all of our residents and their families had an amazing day, and the weather was perfect! Couldn’t have wished for more.
Thank you to all concerned and to all who contributed on the day.
