Vuyiroli Project, India

The Vuyiroli Project in Chennai is a rescue centre and care home for the destitute and the elderly in Chennai. The Christian values and mission statement of the Vuyiroli Project strongly complements our work in South East London and we will work to support them in their commitment to improving the lives of the elderly by providing a home to meet their 'physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs'.

Our initial involvement will support the purchase of a vehicle to locate and transport homeless and destitute older people in Chennai.  A visit to the project in May 2010 to establish fully Mission Care’s involvement and support of the organisations was undertaken and is now under review.
