Residents at Love Walk were honoured to welcome local royalty to their home on Friday 11th June, when they were visited by the Pearly King of Peckham, George Major, and his grandson, the Pearly Prince of Peckham.
George spoke to the residents about the history of the Pearly Kings and Queens and reminisced about old South East London. It was a fantastic afternoon, both enjoyable and informative, and fascinating to learn more about this unique tradition!
