Residents represent Love Walk

Date posted: July 19th, 2010 | Tags: Love Walk, Camberwell, College of Arts, Denmark Hill, Residential Care home, Mags Gaisford

A group of six residents attended the Camberwell College of Arts' postgraduate MA Printmaking degree show last week, as representatives of Love Walk.

Mags Gaisford, a student on the MA Printmaking course has volunteered at Love Walk since the beginning of the year leading an arts and crafts programme for residents that has included, so far, printing with vegetables, card and other household materials.

Many of Mag's final pieces were on display and our residents also enjoyed the opportunity to view the work of other students at the college.

Mags commented that 'the residents at Love Walk are great and always up for a creative challenge! I've made some really good friends during my time here!' If, like Mags, you would like to volunteer in one of our homes, please take a look at our volunteer pages.
