Caribbean cook up in Denmark Hill

Residents at Love Walk spent an enjoyable afternoon preparing a very special home made Caribbean sweetcorn soup on Monday 10th January.

Activity Coordinator, Mags Gaisford explains ’we visited our local grocer’s in the morning to stock up on our ingredients and spent the afternoon doing some serious chopping to prepare the vegetables for the soup - we had great fun!’

The soup included pumpkins, fiery scotch bonnet peppers, carrots, peppers and lots and lots of corn and was served to all of the residents with their evening meal.
