Love Walk go back in time

A group of residents from Love Walk residential care home, Denmark Hill, spent an enjoyable day at the
Museum of London on Monday 17th January.
The party braved the wind and rain, hopping on a bus in Camberwell that took them straight to the museum on London Wall.
The Museum charts our capital city's long and turbulent past, from the current day right back to prehistoric times. Activities Coordinator, Mags Gaisford explained,
'we had a wonderful day and travelled back to a time when hippos roamed the streets, then returned, via Roman and medieval eras, to 2011, for a nice cup of tea! We especially enjoyed looking at wattle and daub huts and some elegant Roman hair pins.'
