History gets mobile

Residents from Love Walk care home, Denmark Hill, have celebrated the beginning of their new ’History Walkers Club’.

Their weekly history walks will allow residents to learn and research more about the local history of Denmark Hill and Camberwell, in the company of Steve Taylor, their pastoral worker from the London City Mission.

Steve is a regular visitor to Love Walk and to Morton House and very much appreciated by all of our residents.
 
The inaugral ’History Walkers Club’ visit was to St. Giles Church and along Camberwell Grove, where the residents enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of the Grove and the Church in glorious sunshine.
