Elmwood played host to a wonderful afternoon of traditional English entertainment on Saturday 8th May, enjoyed by our residents, their family and friends and our staff. Despite a bout of bad weather, it was agreed that this didn’t stop the fun!
To begin, a troupe of Morris Men dancers performed energetically for more than half an hour. Cream teas were then served and enjoyed whilst our singer Mark performed a two hour set, that included lots of old favourites. Many of our residents enjoyed singing along with Mark and friends and relatives joined them in dancing for part of his performance.
This was a wonderful start to Elmwood’s Summer events programme, but we hope that our Garden Party in July will take place in glorious sunshine!
