Falling on Saturday 12th June, the Queen’s official birthday, it’s no surprise that this year’s Willett House summer fair was a distinctly British affair!

Residents and their families and friends celebrated all things British throughout the day. The garden was decked with Union Jacks and brightly coloured bunting and the wonderful buffet lunch had a distinctly British flavour with pork pies, ham sandwiches and plenty of lovely cakes all on offer.

Guests also enjoyed browsing the many stalls, with the tombola and face painting stall proving particularly popular with our younger guests. The proceeds of the day totalled more than £600, which will benefit residents at the home.

The residents and staff of Willett House are grateful to all those who attended and helped to make the day such an enjoyable afternoon for all those who attended.
