Elmwood Garden Party

Attendees at Elmwood’s annual garden party enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of fine sunshine on Saturday July 10, and contributed to a grand total of £2003 raised for the home’s activities programme.
The party opened with a performance from the Parkwood Hall steel band who were followed by James Cormack, a regular visitor to Elmwood who sang on two occasions throughout the afternoon. Guests were also treated to a Scottish dancing display and were encouraged to join in with a couple of routines!
The sun was incredibly hot and many of our residents preferred to sit in the shade, but everyone managed to keep cool and comfortable – helped in some part by the steady flow of ice creams and chilled drinks!
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the garden party and for contributing to such a wonderful day.
