Quiz night at Love Walk

An annual quiz night at Love Walk was attended by more than fifty of our residents and staff and members of the Ashton Edwards Trust and the League of Friends on Saturday 24th July.
The event is hosted each July by the Ashton Edwards Trust, a local charity that the home works closely with. Guests enjoyed a fabulous summer buffet that included some wonderful home made quiche and plenty of refreshments.
The quiz featured several rounds including an audio 'TV theme tunes' which was particularly popular with some of our older residents, who correctly identified theme tunes to programmes that are no longer broadcast. At the end of the evening a raffle was held to raise funds for both charities.
The residents of Love Walk offer their sincere thanks to the Ashton Edwards Trust and League of Friends, for their continued support of the home throughout the year.
