On Tuesday 16th November, some of the residents of Love Walk residential care home, Denmark Hill went to the Florence Nightingale Museum at St Thomas' Hospital.
The museum houses a beautiful display of photographs documenting the life and work of Florence, a nurse in the Crimean War and health campaigner, as well as videos and artefacts about the history of nursing, right up to the present day.
At the end of the exhibition, full of knowledge and enthusiasm, the party spent some time browsing in the museum's gift shop.
