Residents at Willett House have been amongst the first guest at Age Concern Bromley’s
The Garden Room Dementia Cafe in Chislehurst.
The Garden Room Dementia Cafe is a relaxed and informal meeting place that helps to support individuals living with dementia, their families and friends and provides access to a wide range of information, services and social activities with delicious refreshments.
Their visit on the 18th January was a great success, two residents were accompanied by a number of relatives and friends, including a relative from Homefield and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to share their experiences with other people in similar situations.
Karla Osbourne, Activities Coordinator explained,
’we had a lovely afternoon and the walk up to the cafe was great - we were rosy cheeked and ready for a cup of tea by the time we arrived!’
