Chinese celebrations in Denmark Hill

Residents at Love Walk enjoyed a wonderful evening of Chinese culture in early February.
Alexandra Mattholie who is an expert on Chinese culture and arts, and currently studying for a PhD on the subject visited the home a week after residents had celebrated the Chinese New Year by baking their own fortune cookies.
Our residents learnt about the symbolism and importance of animals in the Chinese calendar, drank green tea and experimented with drawing different Chinese characters.
