Residents from Willett House care home, Chislehurst, enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the
Museum of London learning about the history of our capital city.
Our party enjoyed the journey through South East London to London Wall and treated themselves to a spot of afternoon tea in the museum's cafe before visiting a number of exhibitions.
The exhibition about the Great Fire of London was of particular interest to one of our residents, John, who previously worked as a fireman and entertained us all with stories and memories from his time in the fire service.
The photography exhibition which included photographs from throughout the twentieth century was also very interesting and stimulated some wonderful discussions for the bus journey back to Chislehurst!
