Pirates of Canary Wharf

A group of residents at Love Walk had a wonderful afternoon at The
Museum of London Docklands at West India Quay, on Thursday 15th June, after original plans to visit
Vauxhall City Farm were postponed because of bad weather.
After a tasty lunch outside (the sun came out once the rain had stopped) our residents spent several hours in the museum and particularly enjoyed the 'Captain Kidd' gallery, which retold the story of one of London's most infamous pirates, who met his end at Wapping's execution dock of 300 years ago.
Our residents (and staff!) had a brilliant time in the interactive gallery, and dressed up in the costumes in the gallery to re-enact scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean 3, which they saw at the Peckham Plex in early May.
