Summer BBQ talk of the home

On Sunday 24th July, residents, relatives, supporters and staff of Morton House, Lewisham enjoyed their annual summer BBQ. The day which was packed with entertainment was a great success and raised a grand total of £125 to support activities within the home.

Despite there being a problem with the BBQ in the morning this did not stop our residents and supporters from having an excellent afternoon.  A variety of stalls, raffles and the ventriloquist act kept our guests busy along with the Magician and the balloon animals keeping the children even busier!
Sally, Activities coordinator commented that ‘it was a wonderful afternoon and it was really nice to see everyone having a good time together. The party was definitely talk of the home the next morning!’

Thank you to all those who attended and contributed and helped make the summer party such a wonderful success.
