On Monday 1st August, Molly a resident from Homefield celebrated her very special 100th birthday! Molly prepared for her big day with a pampering session in the morning ready for the birthday celebrations in the afternoon.

Entertainment was provided by Roger Channing who sang a selection of classic songs including a happy birthday tribute to Molly to which, friends and staff all joined in! Banners, balloons and silver streamers were all set up in aid for the party including many birthday cards. A special telegram was sent from the Queens Representative from Buckingham Palace and also the local M.P Ian Duncan Smith.

Refreshments were provided by the kitchen staff who made a large fruit cake, and Steph Storer Clinical Practice Director made a giant cup cake which were extremely delicious. Champagne was served, and glasses were raised to toast Molly on her 100th birthday!
