A party from Greenhill, Bromley including residents, staff and relatives took an exciting trip to Howletts Zoo on Thursday 28th July, as part of Greenhill’s ‘animal themed week’.

Our residents enjoyed a talk about the history of the zoo that is supported by the Aspinall Foundation a charity dedicated to protecting endangered animals. The wild animal park is home to the largest herd of African Elephants and specifically famous for their Gorillas.

Our party strolled around the zoo spotting the different types of interesting animals, which was like a real life safari experience.

Prior to coming to Greenhill many of our residents had pets and were delighted to visit the wildlife park. Lunch and tea was enjoyed by all in the park in the lovely sunshine, and the day finished with an ice cream or two!
