Residents from Greenhill embarked on a trip into Kent to visit the historic Dockyard in Chatham on Thursday 29th September.

At the old navy town our residents looked around the historic boats and also the submarines, and were very lucky to visit on just the last day of the Titanic exhibition! The tour of the old Titanic and the memorabilia sparked off discussion where everyone shared their thoughts about this sad historic event.

The group then stopped off for lunch in the warm sunshine overlooking the dock, and then went on to the rope session, where our residents were taught how to tie knots with different kinds of rope. May, a resident from Greenhill commented that ‘it was a perfect day with the perfect weather; it was nice to be by the dockside. The only negative part of the day was that it went too quickly!’
