CHINESE DANCE SHOW AT ELMWOOD

23 October 2018

Last month, a local dance group visited Elmwood to entertain our residents with a series of traditional Chinese dances.

The group performed the national dance called ‘Alphasa’, as well as the mesmerising ‘Water Dance’, and Chinese opera ‘Paging.’ As well as their performance, the group explained the history of the dances which residents found intriguing. They also performed a Thai Chi session for residents.  Each dance was performed in a different, vibrant coloured costume which only added to experience.

One resident commented, “It was interesting and colourful and such lovely dancing!”
