LOVE WALK VISIT SOUTH LONDON GALLERY

Love Walk’s regular art group recently visited the South London Gallery – a local gallery in Camberwell next to Camberwell College of Arts. The exhibition featured abstract and figurative paintings, sculpture and film works by Brazilian artist, Luiz Zerbini. Some of the larger canvasses took up whole walls, and depicted the overlap between the natural world and humanity in the outskirts of Rio di Janeiro which were fascinating to look at. There was also a 3D work of art of a beach complete with shells, coconut husks, old tyres, flip flops, sand and fishing nets.

Residents enjoyed a coffee break in the welcoming gallery café afterwards, before wandering leisurely home through the streets and parks of Camberwell.
