RESIDENTS CELEBRATE THE CHINESE NEW YEAR

26 February 2018

Residents at Love Walk recently celebrated the Chinese New Year in style. The dining room was decorated with beautiful lanterns and folding paper fans, all red in colour - the traditional colour of good luck. The home’s catering team prepared a mouth-watering menu of delicious Chinese food - noodles and fried rice with sweet and sour chicken. Traditional Chinese music was also a great addition to the festive atmosphere.

One of our residents, Pauline, said that she felt like she was in a Chinese restaurant. Another resident, Ify, commented how much he liked the Chinese food and added: “I love it that we get to try all these different things. It is really nice to celebrate another new year all together.”
